Video Music Awards

This occasion honors student achievements in both lower and upper division classes by providing an celebration to showcase their innovative ideas, entrepreneurship skills and vision for the hospitality industry. The underclassmen create music videos, while upperclassmen design business plans to showcase a particular segment of the hospitality and tourism industry. These projects represent a significant part of the final course grade.

The event will include a reception from 6-7:30 pm were guest can invest in the upperclassmen business plans with fake money while enjoying hors d'oeuvres and desserts. Immediately after will followed the VMA ceremony were 9 nominated music videos are presented. Three awards will be given to the lowerclassmen team with the best video each one of three categories.
