  1. Maintain accurate financial records
    • To be emailed to President at the beginning of each month and reviewed at every board meeting (share updates)
  2. Provide a copy to President of monthly bank statements
    • Brian would like to have the bank statements mailed to Treasurer at school (in process of changing)
  3. Keep all receipts for the year and make them available to PSFA Rep to turn in for PSFA reimbursement
  4. Keep MESA on budget-feel free to say no if there are no funds

  1. Take meeting minutes at all meetings. Have typed and share w/in week of meeting
  2. Redecorate and keep bulletin board up to date in hallway
  3. Assist in typing up flyers or notices that need to go out to students (BBQ info, etc)
  4. Create a display board that can be re-useable for professional functions
  5. Update website


Jessica Stern

  1. Send out volunteer opportunities to all students, always include Brian and President
  2. Keep in timely communication with professionals on the update of the volunteers for their events
  3. Do follow up on every event within a week of event and provide feedback at every board meeting
  4. Communicate volunteer requirements effectively to student volunteers
  5. Maintain record of events participated (industry and MESA) in and the students who worked/planned them
  6. Responsible for making sure paid students get their paychecks
  7. Keep record of members’ accountability
  8. Create volunteer awards for the end of each semester/or end of year
  9. Assist with any necessary blast emails

  2. Build committees for each event and delegate tasks to provide members with opportunities to learn and build skills
  3. Oversee all MESA activities
  4. Design a MESA event BEO that includes: event name, planners, attendees, time, date, location, dress, brief timeline, description, SDSU requirements, costs, etc (not in that particular order) to keep a record and pass along to future board members
  5. Help book space and show underclassmen the how/when its needed
  6. Assist VP with fundraising
    • a. Solicit fundraising to members and find students to manage each fundraiser
  7. Design various awards to be given out each semester/or end of year

  3. Answer questions Coordinator can’t
  4. Put together a “book” of all materials used to pass along to next Director
  5. Ultimately makes final decisions if there are issues
  6. Oversee budget
